The NUS Overseas College (NOC) is a prestigious programme where selected candidates to intern in overseas start-up companies while getting a part-time technopreneurship minor in top universities in the Silicon Valley, Philadelphia, Sweden, Beijing, Shanghai, Israel and India.
The biggest challenge for the NOC programme is to increase its visibility as well as facilitating interaction between prospective candidates and its alumni. NOC wants to lower the sign-up barrier through candid communications.
By nature, alumni of NOC programme are proud of to be who they are and won't hesitate to tell others about it. The "Go Get It" app simply made it easier for people who are already aware of the NOC programme (e.g. alumni) to tell 5 more of their other friends who may be potential candidates. And the top sharers will win attractive prizes. Leveraging on the power of the alumni, this campaigned opened up a new channel for the NOC office to recruit potential candidates.
