Sales Executive (Outbound)

OBJECTIVE

To maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction and position the company as a key long-term business partner with clients. To understand the client’s business priorities, marketing and marcom directions, operation pressures and IT capabilities, and actively support the client with strategic social media planning. To position the company as the supplier of choice to the target prospects and proactively develop a pipeline of sales opportunities) 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate new sales leads via platforms such as LinkedIn and networking events, while taking on inbound sales leads as assigned.
  • Visit customers and target prospects (including key decision makers) in line with the current sales strategy of the company. Attend meetings on time and professionally as well as execute effective sales pitches and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Communicate directly with clients on requirements, challenges and restrictions and fashion proposals for clients’ social media plans.
  • Work closely with Projects Director on post-sale project handover (including project requirements, budget and timeline).
  • Avoid overpromising: Align clients’ expectations to the service capabilities of Techsailor.
  • Account Management: Manage all communications with clients at different time lines of the project lifecycle. Work closely with Project Manager to ensure alignment in project scope and actual project delivery. To act as escalation point for major issues on the clients service or project delivery.
  • Contribution to strategy: Annual sales pipeline by industry, territory and purpose. Suggest and make changes to company’s sales and marketing collateral where required to stay relevant. Continuously seek opportunities to value-add to existing clients with Techsailor’s additional services and offerings.
  • Shortlist and develop suitable/relevant clients into long term sales channels
  • Contribute to company’s learning through weekly technology sharing sessions and all project closure meetings.
  • Attend periodic sales reviews including quarterly sales meetings with the rest of the sales team in order to monitor progress, agree on upcoming actions and specific objectives for the following quarter.
  • Attend regular approved seminars and conferences to keep abreast of social and mobile media developments in the industry.
  • Inform customers about recent developments of our company and services by means of mailings, customer visits and events.
  • To ensure compliance with sales processes, documentation, reporting and pipeline management tool and account plans

SALARY & BENEFITS


  • Negotiable Basic & Commissions
  • Depends on the number of new leads you can bring in, level of experience and expected sales figures.

Work towards defined key annual goals, including:- 

  • Average project profit margin in portfolio
  • Average growth rate of portfolio
  • Average #Orders
  • Number of customer visits per week
  • Size and conversion of sales funnel



SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • 
Articulate, polished, street-smart.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Technically competent: Excel planning and data analysis
  • Knowledgeable about Social Media and possess a clear understanding on how Social Media value adds to a business/brand
  • Industry knowledge: Web 2.0 and social media related platforms, technologies, applications, development and challenges.
  • Language: Fluency in English is a must. Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.

  • Resourceful, independent and self-directed.
  • Able to work closely with teammates both regionally and internationally.
  • Understand the psychology of decision making of clients and the complex nature of the major projects.
  • Able to take on pressure and work under tight schedules and deadlines.
  • Strong people and social skills as well as innate ability build rapport with people
  • Singaporeans and Foreigners welcomed.
  • Full driving license and car a plus.
